New measures Valencian Community 25/01/2021

These are the new corona measures that took effect today.In an emergency meeting yesterday, the regional government decided to adopt new corona measures that will follow those already adopted. These new measures will be in place until 15 February.As of today, it is forbidden to get together with non-cohabitants. So no friends, no visitors, no relatives who do not live in the same house, no parties, no birthday parties etc.

More information and details will be announced today but in all likelihood there will be some exceptions such as:

* People living alone who can join a cohabitation group.
* Minors of divorced parents may join either the father or the mother.
* Persons in a marital or partnership relationship who live in different places.
* The care, attention and guidance of minors, elderly or dependent persons.

On the street and in public places, the group size when meeting is also reduced from 6 to 2 persons, except when it concerns cohabitants.

In addition to the already existing regional lockdown of the entire Valencian Autonomous Community with a ban on travelling in or out of the region, there will also be local lockdowns in the municipalities of Alicante, Elche, Torrevieja, Orihuela, Benidorm, Alcoi, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Elda and Petrer at weekends from 3pm to 6am on Monday.During the weekend, no one (with exceptions) may enter or leave the municipality
